My Little Chef

For dinner Colt made a Mushroom and White Bean Chili Wrap. Now who would want to learn how to cook when I have my very own personal chef with me?

Midnight Sun

I've finished the 'Twilight Saga' and I loved them! I'm now currently reading a portion of Stephenie Meyer's, Midnight Sun, that she has posted online (264 pages!). Midnight Sun is the story of Twilight but through Edward's point of view. I love that it's the same story, yet so different from another character's point of view. Again, if you haven't given these books a try, I highly recommend them. Out of everybody I know that has read them, only 1 person wasn't completely obsessed, and I think there is something wrong with her!

Allyson Mae

I finally got to meet my new baby cousin, and she's amazing!

The Twilight Saga

I've been avoiding these books for several months now because they just didn't look like my style, I mean come on, Vampires???  But I LOVE them. I'm currently on the 3rd book, Eclipse. If you haven't read them yet, I highly recommend them.
I wanted to post an update... since I haven't written anything since the beginning of August! There have been a few exciting things that have happened during this time, but I just haven't had any time to get on here and talk about them.

On August 31, 2008 I ran my first 10k! I participated in the Nike Human Race and I had such a good time. I did it with my friends Megan Normandin and Lynsee Tassa and I think we all did so great, considering we didn't train for it at all. We started at 8:00 am and we crossed the finish line at 9:20.

On September 12th, Colt's cousin Mandy got married to Shane, and the wedding was beautiful! And, on September 29th (I think) my friend Kelsey got engaged! Congrats!

Gus at the Beach

Colt and I decided that it was time to take Gus to see the Ocean :) So we packed up quickly for a last minute trip to Seaside. Gus didn't seem fazed by the ocean but he LOVED the sand! Here are some pictures of our day...

You can tell by the sand all over his face that he had lots of fun...
